THE MILLERS RETURNED TO WINNING WAYS with this victory over bottom of the table East Grinstead Town.
Goals from Hassan Ibrahiym, Warren Mfula and Kevin Lisbie saw off a Wasps side whose performance on the whole belied their lowly position.
After Ibrahiym’s 10th minute cross defied all to sneak in at the far post, the visitors drew level in similarly bizarre fashion as a low drive from Thomas Bramble took a deflection off Ashley Sains before spinning past the bemused Millers keeper Andy Walker.
As the Millers once again failed to turn territorial domination into goals, it was Mfula’s 7th goal of the season that sent the Millers into the break in the ascendancy, the hot-shot striker stabbing home Lisbie’s cross, after a subtle flick on from Francis Babalola.
The points were sealed in the 71st minute as Lisbie scored his first goal of the season, calmly slotting past East Grinstead keeper Brannon Daly.
