Two second half strikes from hot-shot striker Warren Mfula catapulted newly promoted Cray Valley into the top 3, in this close encounter at Badgers.
A first half largely dominated by The Millers saw them unable to penetrate a strong Lilywhites rear guard.
Francis Babalola proved a constant threat in and around the Faversham area but, much as they probed, The Millers failed to really test keeper Luke Watkins.
For their part, it took Faversham until the 40th minute to register their first corner.
With the home side attacking downhill towards the Quaggy End in the second half, it looked as though a frustrating afternoon would ensue until the 66th minute substitution of Mfula for Babalola.
It took just 7 minutes for the striker to find the net with an excellent finish from an acute angle across Watkins, in off the far post.
With The Lilywhites pushing forward in search of an equaliser, The Millers countered with a low cross from the right finding Mfula in the box to fire against the crossbar.
It was then left to Mfula to secure the points in the 90th minute, striking a fine left foot drive into the back of the net.
