The Millers suffered injury time heartache as substitute Marcus Elliott bundled home a late corner to deny the visitors a hard earned victory.
With the clock ticking down, The Oystermen threw men forward in one last frantic assault that saw Millers keeper Andy Walker push the ball away for a second consecutive corner. With the ball bobbling dangerously around a crowded six yard box, the ball fell for Elliott to pounce.
All this after a much improved performance saw The Millers lead courtesy of Francis Babalola's 41st minute strike as he cooly slotted Danny Smith's excellent through ball beyond home keeper Dan Eason.
This at the end of a first half that saw Millers with the lions share of posession, although neither side were able to create any clear cut chances.
An 55th minute injury to Kalvin Morath-Gibbs saw a defensive reshuffle, with Josh James coming on to provide great industry down the left side.
As The Millers started to look increasingly comfortable in front of a crowd of 141, the industrious Babalola had a great opportunity to seal the points in the 84th minute, but his run on goal was defeated by the onrushing keeper Eason.
So The Millers retained their unbeaten record on the road, but it could have so much better.
