The Scholars make their first ever visit to the Artic Stadium on Saturday. An established Isthmian Premier side since winning promotion via the play off's after finishing runners-up in the Isthmian North season 2017/18. Original Mount Grace Scholars, hence the nickname, they joined the Herts county league in 1968/69, changed name to Mount Grace (Potters Bar) in 1984 and to the present day Potters Bar Town in 1991.
They currently sit in 11th place on 20 points from 15 games. After a good start to their league season they have slipped a little of late and have now gone 6 league games without a win, losing their last three. Top goalscorer in all competitions is Steve Cawley on 10 followed by Brandon Adams on 6.
Meanwhile the Millers come into this game on the back of five league wins, all by a single goal and two draws. A couple of cup defeats in between but Steve McKimm will be delighted with the start to their first league campaign at step 3. With Wingate & Finchley picking up a point midweek to go above them on goal difference they now sit in 3rd place on 30 points from 15 games, three points behind leaders Dover Athletic.
As always it promises to be compelling, hope to see you there!
