The Wands make their first visit to the Artic Stadium for a competitive match although they did visit for a pre-season friendly at the start of 2023/24. After a slow start to this season as they settled into their new ground "down the road" at Flamingo Park they have now run into some form and are unbeaten in their last four league games with back to back wins 1-0 at Cheshunt and on Saturday 3-0 at home to Hashtag United. They now sit in 18th place on 12 points from 12 games. Their goals have been spread around the team with three players currently heading the chart in all competition with Tom Bonner, Kenny Coker and Anthony Cook all on 4. Charlie Edwards who bagged a pair against Hashtag on Saturday is on 3.
Tonight'a match:
So after what seems an age we finally return to the Artic Stadium, twenty-four days in fact since our last home game against Chichester City. Five away games on the spin including three cup games. In the league a win at Bognor Regis and a hard earned point in a goalless draw at Dartford on Saturday. A new face to the Artic Stadium will be Dan Bowry who made his debut at Dartford. More on Dan can be found here - https://www.crayvalleypmfc.com/news/player-update--new-signing-2883178.html
With the Wands running into form of late it promises to be a cracker and not just because it's firework night. Hope to see you there.
