The Management Team:
A few familiar faces make up the Bowers team management. Firstly manager James Collins who was the man at the helm for the Millers in season 2016/17 leading them to 4th place at step 5 in the SCEFL premier division, at the time their highest ever league position and London Senior Cup Winners beating Met Police 2-1 in the final at Dulwich Hamlet. The lowest ranked side (step 5) ever to win the London Senior Cup. The team were also finalists in the Kent Senior Trophy losing to Ashford United in the Final at the Gallagher Stadium, Maidstone. A player during that season was Laurence Collins, younger brother of James, who made 27 appearances. Laurence is now one of the assistant managers at Bowers alongside Steve O'Boyle known to the Millers through his previous managerial appointments at Phoenix Sports and prior to that Greenwich Borough.
This season:
Bowers currently sit in 20th place on 13 points from 15 games. On Saturday they were beaten 2-0 at home to league leaders Dover Athletic their third league defeat in a row following victories against Chichester City and Hendon. Top goalscorer in all competitions is Alfie Evans on 5 followed by Rohdell Gordon on 4.
Previous Meetings:
The two clubs have never met before.
