Nicknamed "The Dons" or more recently "The Greens" tenure at Step 3 dates back to 1977/78 when they were a founder member of the Isthmian League Premier Division. Changes to the "non-league pyramid" has seen them competing in the Southern League Premier Division for the last six years - with a highest place finish of tenth last season - before a lateral movement this summer restored them to the Isthmian ranks.
Last Three Seasons:
2023/24 Southern Premier South 10th
2022/23 Southern Premier South 18th
2021/22 Southern Premier South 16th
This season:
Hendon under manager Lee Allinson, who was appointed in November 2019, have made a good start to their league campaign currently sitting in 8th place on 11 points from 7 games. They are unbeaten on the 3G at Silver Jubilee Park this season with victories over Bowers & Pitsea 2-1, Cray Wanderers 3-1, and Cheshunt 2-0. They also beat Whitehawk 3-0 at home in the Emirates FA Cup First Round before going out beaten 3-0 in the next round at Herne Bay. Away from home in the league has seen draws at Bognor Regis Town and Chatham Town long with defeats at Dulwich Hamlet and last time out Folkestone Invicta. Top goalscorer to date is Kai Omoko Brosnan on 5 followed by Joe White on 4.
Both teams were in County Cup action midweek, the Millers progressing in the Kent Senior Cup beating Ashford United 3-0 at the Artic Stadium on Tuesday evening, goals from Shomotun, Coker and Vigor. Hendon meanwhile with a much changed team exited the London Senior Cup on Wednesday evening, going out 5-3 on penalties at Woodford Town of the Essex Senior League after it finished goalless at 90 minutes.

After a difficult journey to West London for many the home side stormed into an early lead and set the tone to follow. Jordan Sandiford's goal for the Millers five minutes after coming on as a 75th minute substitution was a mere consolation.
