The Blues have made a good start to their league season and currently sit in third place on 12 points from 6 games (ahead of the Millers on goal difference). They opened with a 3-0 win at home to Whitehawk followed by three consecutive 1-1 draws at Chatham Town, home to Dover Athletic and away at Cheshunt. A 2-1 home victory against Hastag United and a 3-0 away win at Folkestone Invicta complete their first half a dozen league games. Their only defeat this season was a surprise 2-1 loss in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round at home to Bowers & Pitsea. This allowed the players to enjoy a rare Saturday off last week and will no doubt be raring to go at the Artic Stadium. Top goalscorer to date is Ashley Nzala on four.
