DIRECTIONS BY ROAD: Leave the M20 motorway at junction 13, and head south onto the A20 (Cherry Garden Avenue). At the traffic lights, turn left onto the A2034 (Cheriton Road), pass the Harvey Grammar School and The Dugout clubhouse - the FIFC ground is next left before Morrisons supermarket; opposite the cemetery. Some car parking is available at The Dugout although if you are arriving by coach drive past the ground and turn left into the council car park signposted Three Hills Sports Club just prior to Morrisons and park in the designated coach bays opposite the ambulance station.

DIRECTIONS BY RAIL: Disembark at Folkestone West. On leaving the station follow Station Road right and take left onto Beachborough Road, then right onto Cheriton Road. Alternatively disembark at Folkestone Central, turn right out of the station and left onto Cheriton Road and walk for around half a mile, the ground is on the right just past Morrisons supermarket.

Invicta opened their league season with a 1-1 home draw against Carshalton Athletic. This was followed by a 3-2 midweek away win at Dover Athletic in front of 2,495 fans, with Invicta striker Daniel Smith scoring twice. More goals on Saturday at Wingate & Finchley but unfortunately the game was abanodoned in the 90th minute due to a serious injury to the Wingate keeper. The scoreline at the time was 3-3 with defender Ian Gayle (brother of our own Denzel, who also played seven games for the Millers in season 2021/22) scoring twice.

Steve McKimm and his team will be delighted with the way the Millers responded to the narrow opening day defeat 2-1 at home to Dartford with victories at Cray Wanderers 2-0 and 4-2 at home to Cheshunt on Saturday. Freddie Parker leads the way on the goal stakes with 3 in 3 games.
