A traffic accident delayed the kick off at the Artic stadium, resulting in the necessity to find a replacement assistant, by 20 minutes but that didn’t deter a rampant Millers side putting the home side three goals ahead inside 23 minutes.

The first half was dominated by Cray who took the lead in the 11th minute when midfielder Danny Waldren converted a deep corner from Andre Cocker with a diving header. Eight minutes later a high ball into the box from Tom Chambers was fumbled by Sami Nabbad in the visitors goal when aerially challenged by Freddie Parker and the ball fell kindly to Parker to tap home into an empty net from 10 yards. The game was effectively over in the 23rd minute when another deep corner by Coker to the far post was headed into the top corner by centre back Cem Tumkaya. The Ambers did create a few chances by found Max Ovenden is fine form, the pick of his saves was a goal bound effort that he tipped over the bar.

The second half was a bit of anti climax after Parker converted his second, deftly sticking out a boot to flick home from close range from an excellent cross by Chambers only 3 minutes after the interval. Despite the four goal deficit Cheshunt rallied and made the score more respectable with goals from Darion Furlong and Taylor Curran. Furlong’s header looped Overden from a Dernell Wynter corner in 50th minute before Curren completed the scoring in the 70th minute.
