CHESHUNT – Approx Distance from The Artic Stadium 26 miles
Next week’s visitors to The Artic Stadium, “The Ambers” finished third in the newly formed South Central Division in 2018/19 before going on to secure promotion via the play-offs. After the two “Covid” hit seasons, a fifth place finish in 2021/22 saw them again victorious in the play-offs - earning promotion to the National League South. Relegation followed however and the club were involved in a struggle to retain their Premier Division status last season – finishing just four points in front of relegated Margate.
Season to date:
Cheshunt are unbeaten in their two league games this season, beating Bognor Regis 3-2 at home on opening day and picking up a point in a 1-1 draw away at Bowers and Pitsea on Tuesday evening.
Millers:
Following their narrow 2-1 opening day defeat at home to Dartford, the Millers picked up their first win at step 3 beating Cray Wanderers 2-0 on Tuesday night in the first ever competitive match at Flamingo Park. Steve McKimm and his team will be looking to bring the feel good factor from Tuesday's game into Saturday. One player who will be missing though will be Hassan Ibrahiym who serves a one match suspension following his second yellow and subsequent red card against Dartford.
