The Millers came from behind to maintain their unbeaten league record against a resilient Sheppey side.

After a lacklustre first half, a quick fire double by Danny Waldren and Denzel Gayle shortly after the break secured the points for the home side.

The Ites had the better of the early exchanges and deservedly went ahead in the 26th minute when the unmarked Danny Leonard had time and space in the box to choose his spot. Matt Vigor cooly levelled the score three minutes before the break after the ball broke to him in the box.
Cray were much more dominant in the second half and took the lead in the 56th minute with a powerfully directed header from Waldren into the bottom corner of the net from a Barney Williams cross. Three minutes later skipper Gayle cut in from the right to fire a low shot past visitors keeper Aiden Prall.

Max Ovenden in the Millers goal made an excellent save late on but on the whole Valley restricted Sheppey in the second half and ran out deserved winners.
