A frustrating afternoon for the Millers who had plenty of possession but created only a few chances which couldn't be taken. The Hawks however, make the most of their chances and take the points.

The Millers had controlled the first half but fell to a sucker punch late on when the Hawks took the lead, Charlie Harris rifling a shot across Chris Lewington after picking up Kris Otis's knock down in their first real attack of note. Earlier Denzel Gayle and Adam Coombes had efforts thwarted. Barney Williams who had tried his luck from 30 yards which home side keeper Luke Glover tipped over for a corner had to leave the field after getting injured on 32 minutes and was replaced by Mitchell Nelson.

The Hawks nearly doubled their lead from the re start, Alfie Rogers going close. The Millers came closest to getting an equaliser in a ten minute spell either side of the hour, Gayle found himself one on one but Glover deflected his shot wide. Shortly after Tom Chambers broke down the left hand side before sliding the ball to Ade Adeyemo who curled his shot narrowly wide. Seconds later Nelson planted a header against the crossbar. Glover was then called into action blocking Coombes shot before smothering the ball at the feet of Adeyemo.

With five minutes remaining Charlie Harris sent a free kick goal wards which Lewingtion pushed away at his far post. In added time Coombes had a shot blocked and after the clearance up field, Charlie Lambert, who had just come on as a substitute for the Hawks, latched on to an under hit Tumkaya back pass to race through on goal slotting past Lewington to seal the three points, much to the joy of the Din end.
