A difficult afternoon for the Millers at Salters Lane as another match slips by extending their win less run to six, including five defeats. Two second half goals by Gillingham loanee Ronald Sithouse ensured victory and three points to the Lilywhites. The first eight minutes after the break latching onto a ball in the box before lobbing over keeper Chris Lewington. Sithouse was again in the right place on 65 minutes to flick home a header which went in off the inside of the post.

Cray failed to adapt to the bumpy surface and it was a game of few chances from open play. Cray's best effort came in the second half when a Cem Tumkaya header from a Dan Bennett corner was tipped over by Faversham keeper Bailey Vose who was also on hand to punch clear a dangerous looking Hassan Ibrahim free kick. Lewington in the Cray goal was alert to the danger a couple of times in the first half racing out to clear the ball over the top and he was also called into action to prevent Faversham from adding a third by saving Matt Parsons well struck second half free kick.

Sonny Black and Adam Coombes combined well late on but Coombes low shot from the edge of the box was wide of the post. Cray never really looked like getting back into the game and in the end Faversham were worthy winners and Cray's woes continue as they slip to ninth in the table.
