On a wet and windy day at the Artic Stadium the Millers continued their recent impressive form with a hard fought victory against League leaders Ramsgate and stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games in the process. After a well-battled first half with chances for both sides and both keepers making excellent saves in the conditions, the ball was skidding off the wet surface for the entire half. Cray keeper Chris Lewington pulling off a spectacular save from a Jake McIntyre effort from 25 yards out and Rams keeper Josh Bexon making some good saves of his own.

The home side broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute. A deep corner from Bennett was headed home at the far post by centre back Tumkaya and Cray began to take control of the game. The Rams had looked vulnerable from set pieces throughout the game and they doubled their lead seven minutes later after the original delivery was dealt withy the Rans defence the ball fell to defender Barney Williams who fired home a low shot from just outside the edge of the box for his second goal of the season. The Rams made a late effort to salvage something from the game with a period of pressure but Lewington was in fine form in the Millers goal and made a flying save from Wood towards the end of the match.

The Millers stay third in the table after their win, just three points off second and six points off their opposition who remain top of the league by three points.
