The Millers progressed to the next round of the Kent Senior Cup with three late goals to unlock a spirited youthful Nuts & Bolts side and will now visit Dover Athletic at a date to be decided. Valley threatened in the first half without really creating a clear cut chance and it wasn't until just before the break that United forced Ovenden in the Valley goal into action, saving with his legs.

Second half and Barrington soon had the ball in the back of the net but the assistants flag was raised for offside. Ten minutes in and a terrific strike from Della-Verde from 25 yards out powered against the cross bar and out. The breakthrough came on 74 minutes, Della-Verde passed out wide on the right to Shomotun who took his time before making space just inside the box and fire a left foot shot across goal, which the keeper got a hand to but was unable to stop it nestling in the back of the net.

Waldren on as a second half substitute thought he had added a second, heading home a free kick but again the assistants flag was raised for offside. Two further second half substitutes were then involved in the second goal, ten minutes after the first, Vigor a short pass to Coker who finished well, slotting past the keeper from close in. Valley were now in the ascendancy and another effort was ruled out, Barrington standing in an offside position when tapping home the rebound from the keeper. The third came on the stroke of full time, a Della Verde pass to Vigor who found space and scored with a powerful low strike from inside the box into the bottom corner.
