The Millers visit Isthmian South East side East Grinstead Town for their penultimate pre season friendly before their step 3 campaign starts at home to Dartford on Saturday 10th August.

This is the Wasps, managed by Andrew Cooney, seventh pre-season game, on Saturday they played their new ground share partners Southern Combination step 6 side Forest Row. The landlords perhaps unsurprisingly coming out on top 5-0. The previous Tuesday they hosted Isthmian Premier side Lewes which finished goalless and the Saturday before EFL side Crawley Town, the visitors winning 2-0.

The Millers and the Wasps have met 7 times (including one of the curtailed Covid seasons) in the Isthmian South East with the Millers completing a double last season winning at home 4-1 and at the Vistavis Community Stadium 4-0. The Wasps only win in those 7 games was season 2020/21 when they won 5-3, a memorable game and the occasion when the floodlights failed, causing a 28 minute delay. See link below.
