In the battle of the Crays, goals from Sonny Black, 17th minute and Freddie Parker, 55th minute saw Valley edge a close encounter after Cameron Thompson scored late on in the 88th minute for Wanderers. A much improved showing from the Millers, particularly in terms of their desire and it was just the reaction manager Steve Mckimm was looking for after Saturdays below par performance against Stansfeld.
