Our U18’s will again this season be participating in the Isthmian Youth League. They will be one of ten clubs in the East Division playing 18 games. Home games will take place at The Artic Stadium on Thursday evenings with a 19.45pm kick off. They are also entered into two knockout competitions, The FA Youth Cup and the Isthmian League Cup.

As part of their pre-season manager Graham Knight and his team embarked on a weekend tour “up north” where news reached us that Saturday morning they played a side from Avro FC based in Greater Manchester winning 4-3.

Sunday saw them undertake a series of mini games against Oldham Youth Academy which took place at Cardinal Langley RC school, see photo below. Results: Game one Cray Valley won 1-0, game two drew 0-0, game 3 saw Oldham triumph 2-0 and game 4 was a 1-1 draw. Overall Oldham edge it 3-2 but what a great experience for the boys, well done!
