Whilst acknowledging it is wonderful just to be back playing and results are not ultimately what it's all about, here is a quick summary of the opening two weeks of the KYL for our Cray Valley teams.
U13
Two wins from their opening two league games. Last week saw an away win 4-1 at Danson Sports and this was followed up with a 6-2 home victory over Ebbsfleet with a hat trick from David Seikegba, a brace from Liam Foster and Allen Mula with the other.
U14
Bouncebackability was demonstrated by Steve Axam's side who responded well to an opening day 0-8 home defeat to Stansfield with a 7-1 win at Red Devils United. Goals from Samuel Plant 3, Sam Doyle 2, George Russell and Kieron Pietrzak.
U15
Two wins from their opening two league games a 6-0 home win v AFC Mottingham with six different goalscorers was followed by a close 2-1 away win at Metrogas. Both goals from Arinze Chukwujekwu.
U16
After an opening day 2-6 defeat at home to Bromley the team responded by earning their first point of the season with a 3-3 draw away at Lewisham Borough. Goals from Sinaayomi Abiola, Teddy Baughen and Antonio Dos Santos.
U18
No game this week but last week saw a 0-0 draw at home to Welling United to earn their first point of the season.

We wish our 21 youth teams (5 in the KYL and 16 in the SELKENT) an enjoyable season and let's not forget the important thing is player development and of course, particularly in the present climate, staying safe.
